I was a public official and a researcher when I decided to pursue a Masters degree. I wanted to improve my capacity to understand and intervene in society. MUNDUS MAPP stroke me as the perfect combination between training in academic methods and exposure to theories and ideas from other latitudes.

After spending one year at the University of York (UK), a summer in Barcelona, and another year at Central European University (HU), an invaluable set of tools and ideas have enriched my way of perceiving and relating to the world around me. My goal was met.

As important as the intellectual achievement, building strong friendships with people from all over the world is one of the most satisfying outcomes I get from this experience.

Today I divide my time between a research on the relationship between think tanks and universities, commissioned by the International Development Research Centre, Canada, and… running along the Danube!
