Students who apply for the Mundus MAPP program may be eligible for an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Program (EMJMD) scholarship. The EMJMD student scholarship includes the students’ participation costs (for example, the tuition fees and full insurance coverage), and may include a contribution to student travel and installation costs and a monthly subsistence allowance (stipend) for the entire duration of the course. In addition, all scholarship holders also receive financial support from the Mundus MAPP universities in the form of partial tuition fee waivers, meaning they are not required to pay any tuition fees.
Availability of Erasmus Mundus scholarships to successful Mundus MAPP applicants is subject to the formal approval by the EACEA of the addition of Central European University – Private University (with its seat in Vienna, Austria) to the Mundus MAPP Consortium, which is expected in Spring 2021. In an unlikely event that such approval cannot not secured by April 2021, the Mundus MAPP programme will still be delivered as planned in 2021-2023 and the Mundus MAPP Consortium may offer other forms of financial assistance to outstanding applicants.
Mundus MAPP has four application deadlines:
February 1, 2021: for applicants who wish to apply for financial aid
March 15, 2021: deadline for non-EU/EEA applicants who do not wish to apply for financial aid
July 1, 2021: deadline for EU/EEA applicants who do not wish to apply for financial aid
Applicants who submit their application by the application deadline of February 1, 2021 will be automatically considered for financial aid.
