EMJM Scholarship:

The Mundus MAPP Consortium has been supported by the Erasmus + action of the European Union. The Erasmus Mundus (EMJM) scholarship will be offered to outstanding applicants from both within and outside the EU.

A limited number of EMJM scholarships are awarded to the highest-ranked applicants for the duration of the programme (24 months). The EMJM scholarship is calculated on the basis of a monthly unit cost of 1400 EUR/month which corresponds to a maximum scholarship amount of 33 600 Euros (24 months). This 1400 EUR monthly contribution assists students in covering travel, visa, installation and subsistence costs, and any other costs. EMJM scholarship recipients receive a full tuition-fee waiver.

Additional financial support is available for students with individual needs depending on the level of disability/support needed.

An EMJM  scholarship  holder  cannot  benefit  from  another  EU  funded  scholarship scheme  to  follow  the  same (or  another)  EMJM  master  course  (for  the  entire period of enrollment in the course).

Those who have already benefitted from the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Scholarship (EMJM) are not eligible to apply for additional EMJM scholarship.

Institutional Scholarship:

In addition to EMJM scholarships the Mundus MAPP Consortium will offer one Institutional Scholarship per study track. Recipients will be offered a 50% tuition fee waiver at Year 1 and Year 2 institutions. Please note that the Institutional Scholarship does not include a stipend.

Additional details:

Mundus MAPP applicants do not need to pay the CEU application fee unless they apply for other CEU programs

Health insurance – in accordance with the EACEA minimum requirements for health insurance – for the duration of the studies (plus 2 weeks prior and 2 months after) is purchased by the Mundus MAPP Consortium for all enrolled students.

The EMJM Scholarship does NOT cover the following expenses, which must be paid by students:

Application deadlines:

Mundus MAPP has three application deadlines.

February 4, 2025: deadline for applicants who wish to apply for financial aid OR early deadline for self-funded applications

April 15, 2025: deadline for non-EU/EEA residents who do not wish to apply for financial aid

July 1, 2025: deadline for EU/EEA residents who do not wish to apply for financial aid

The scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit. All applicants submitting their application by the scholarship application deadline on February 4, 2025 will be asked in the online portal to indicate their interest in a potential scholarship.

Since only a small number of the top candidates will be awarded a scholarship, applicants are strongly encouraged to seek external funding.

In addition to the financial aid offered by the Mundus MAPP Consortium specifically, admitted students are eligible to apply for other scholarships administered by some of the partner institutions. Inquiries about these must be addressed to the institutions directly, to the contact persons named below.
