Nuray Aridici
Nuray Aridici joined the department of Politics at the University of York in 2018 as an Associate Lecturer.
Nuray completed a PhD at the Politics Department at University of Sheffield in 2015. She received an MA in Area Studies on Russia, Eurasia and Eastern Europe from Columbia University in 2006. She previously worked as a University Teacher at University of Sheffield and a Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University.
Nuray did her PhD on the institutionalization of nationalist ideas in natural gas policy in Russia. Her current research focuses on the discourse of sexuality and nationalism and their impact on foreign policy making processes in Russia and Turkey.
