Karim Knio is Associate Professor in International Political Economy and Governance at the Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam. He is the ISS academic coordinator of Mundus MAPP. His research focuses on the intersection between international political economy, governance and public policy with a particular interest in the literatures on varieties of capitalism, variegated neoliberalism, neo institutional analysis, politics of crisis management and EU Mediterranean Neighbourhood Policies.
