Tuition fees

The tuition fee for Mundus MAPP is € 13,000 per academic year (€ 26,000 for the whole program). Enrolling students will be required to pay their tuition fees according to the following schedule for 2027-29:

CEU-IBEI track

Non-EU/EEA students in the CEU PU-IBEI track: 

 

Within two weeks of receiving

January 9, 2028:                                           6500 EUR – to be paid to CEU PU

September 15, 2028:                                    6500 EUR – to be paid to IBEI

February 15, 2029:                                       6500 EUR – to be paid to IBEI

 

EU/EEA students in the CEU PU-IBEI track:

CEU-YORK track

Non-EU/EEA students in the CEU PU-York track:

ISS-IBEI track

Non-EU/EEA students in the ISS-IBEI track:

 

July 1, 2027:                                               13000 EUR – to be paid to ISS

July 1, 2028:                                               13000 EUR – to be paid to IBEI

Students in this track need to apply for a two-year residence permit, and therefore, are required to pay their full tuition fee in advance. 

For enrolling students who need a visa to enter/study in the EU: 

Students will be required to pay a total of 26,623* Euro, by July 1, 2027, after having received an invoice from the admissions office. This amount consists of tuition fees of 13,000 Euro, immigration fees of 243* Euro, and the amount for living expenses for 12 months of 13,380* Euro. The amount of 13,380* Euro will be transferred back to the student’s bank account after arrival in the Netherlands.

*Living expenses and immigration fees are adjusted annually.

 

EU/EEA students in the ISS-IBEI track:

 

August 15, 2027:                                     6500 EUR – to be paid to ISS

January 9, 2028:                                    6500 EUR – to be paid to ISS

September 15, 2028:                              6500 EUR – to be paid to IBEI

February 15, 2029:                                 6500 EUR – to be paid to IBEI

 

ISS-YORK track

Non-EU/EEA students on the ISS-York track:

 

July 1, 2027:                                               13000 EUR – to be paid to ISS

October, 2028:                                             6500 EUR – to be paid to York

January, 2029:                                             6500 EUR – to be paid to York

In addition to tuition fees, all students must cover the following expenses:

• Study Visit, in the range of 600-1000 EUR (depending on the students’ choice of destination), taking place in the spring term of Year 1
• Winter School, in the range of 600-1000 EUR (depending on the destination), taking place in the winter term of Year 2
• Travel and visa costs between students’ home countries and the consortium countries, and when moving to Year 2 university

The partner universities may charge additional fees in addition to the tuition fee. CEU-track students should note that all enrolled students are required to pay the 52.40 EUR/academic year Austrian Student Union Fee.

Refund of Tuition Fees 

In case of withdrawal, the following refund schedule will apply: 

• If a student withdraws before 1 October of their first year, 25 % of the annual tuition fee will be retained by the first-year institution.  
• If a student withdraws before 31 December of their first year, 50 % of the annual tuition fee will be retained by the first-year institution. 
• There will be no tuition fee refund after 31 December of a student’s first year.

Students must announce their withdrawal from the program in writing. This may happen via email addressed to the relevant office of the higher education institution within the Consortium which they are attending and to the Mundus MAPP Program Coordinator ([email protected]).
