The study visit, an essential part of the Mundus MAPP program, that was meant to be happening in Vienna this year, was moved online due to the COVID-19 situation. It is designed to expose Mundus MAPP students to the world of policy practice.

The first-year students had the possibility to meet with Senior Officials from Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP), Austrian Foundation for Development Research (ÖFSE), Vienna City Housing, The Vienna School for International Studies, urban innovation Vienna and the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens. After short presentations, our students exchanged questions and answers with our hosts and learned about their activities, advocacy role, policy advise and funding and organizational structure.

We would like to thank our hosts again for making this online study visit possible and being so motivated and engaging and hope our students could enjoy it a little despite the circumstances as well.
