On February 11-12 the Mundus MAPP Consortium Board met and made their decisions regarding applications and scholarships in the current admissions round (applications received until January 11, 2016). The following scholarships have been awarded:
- 5 Erasmus Mundus Partner Country scholarships
- 1 Erasmus Mundus Programme Country scholarship
- 1 CEU-York scholarship providing a CEU Master’s Excellence Scholarship for the first year at CEU and a 50% tuition waiver for the second year at the University of York
- 1 CEU-IBEI scholarship providing a CEU Master’s Excellence Scholarship for the first year at CEU and a 50% tuition waiver for the second year at IBEI
- 1 ISS-York scholarship providing a 50% tuition waiver for the first year at ISS and a 50% tuition waiver for the second year at the University of York
- 1 ISS-IBEI scholarship providing a 50% tuition waiver for the first year at ISS and a 50% tuition waiver for the second year at IBEI
In addition, the Consortium is also applying to the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) of the European Commission for additional scholarships for students coming from specific regions of the world. These will be awarded to applicants who were selected by various Erasmus Mundus consortia (not just Mundus MAPP).
Students will not need to go through a separate application procedure in order to be considered for the special regional scholarships. Everyone eligible for such scholarships who is on the reserve list that we have submitted to EACEA will be automatically considered by EACEA based on their own criteria. Selected applicants will be informed by the Consortium as soon as further information is available. Decisions on the special scholarships may take until May or June.
