The Erasmus Mundus MAPP scholarship gave me the opportunity of studying at two high level international institutes in The Netherlands and Spain, where I got to acquire enriching and competitive skills for my future career and life. All of this increased my horizonts both professionally and personally. Furthermore, I got to find everlasting friendships with people of all corners of the world. Being an Erasmus Mundus MAPP alumni is definitely a corner-stone in my life.

Studying at the Institute of Social Studies (ISS) in The Hague – a critical institute for development – gave me the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences with people all over the world as well as to experience life in a very well organized northern city. At IBEI – an international policy oriented institute – I got to see the Spanish higher education system and got in contact with such a cosmopolitan city as Barcelona. The contrasting, yet strengthening, experience of living in these two European countries has marked a milestone in my life.

I take with me the most changing, yet enriching, years of my life which are now attached to Mundus MAPP. The support, hospitality, professionalism and camaraderie at all times of all members of the consortium were indeed constant during those two amazing years of being a student of Erasmus Mundus MAPP.
