The program is accredited in Austria, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK + in the US on CEU tracks. In 2022 the program has been accredited also by the European Approach for Quality Assurance of Joint Degree Programs.
Since its establishment in 2007, 408 students have studied in the Mundus MAPP program from 80 countries and 5 continents.
After graduating from the program 94% of our students were employed within 6 months.
The program includes internships at top international organizations, government agencies and global NGOs, a field trip to experience the world of policy practice and policy labs.

 

The program is 1 of the 5 „success stories” selected by the European Commission in 2020.

Marie-Pierre F. Granger

CEU (Central European University)

Marie-Pierre Granger is the Program Director of the Mundus MAPP consortium. She is Associate Professor at CEU’s Department of Public Policy and Legal Studies Department. She holds a PhD from Exeter University (UK).

Pablo Pareja

IBEI (Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals)

Dr. Pablo Pareja Alcaraz is Lecturer in International Relations at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and Academic Coordinator of the Erasmus Mundus Master in Public Policy at the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) in Barcelona, Spain.

Karim Knio

ISS (International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam)

Karim Knio is Lecturer in Politics at the International Institute of Social Studies. He completed his PhD in International Political Economy at the University of Birmingham, UK.

Nuray Aridici

York (University of York)

Nuray Aridici is an Associate Lecturer at the University of York. Nuray completed a PhD at Politics Department at University of Sheffield.

CEU-IBEI

Global Public Policy
The central focus in this study track is on the policy process at the international and global level, including the design and operation of international organizations and global policy regimes. The track is designed to provide students with thorough understanding of public policy in national as well as in international contexts.

CEU-YORK

European Public Policy
This study track focuses on policy analysis, policy making and problem solving in the European Union, its member states and neighborhood countries. The central focus is on the policy process in national and transnational contexts from agenda-setting to implementation from a problem solving perspective.

ISS-IBEI

Political Economy and Development
This study track seeks to deepen applicants’ knowledge in problem situating approaches of public policy. The logic of this track essentially revolves around the topic of political economy and development.

ISS-YORK

Governance and Development
This study track specializes in topics revolving around governance and development, and attracts applicants wishing to study public policy in the context of developing countries with the objective to work for an international organization in the future.
