Application and selection process

The Mundus MAPP Academic Board will select outstanding scholars according to the following criteria:
- Academic excellence including prominence in the field and publication record;
- Potential contribution to the Mundus MAPP course including relevance of the expertise and experience;
- Teaching abilities - successful applicants will be able to deliver high quality courses in English;
- Contribution to diversity (disciplinary and geographic background) and the potential for future collaboration with the Mundus MAPP Consortium.

Interested scholars are required to apply to the Mundus MAPP Consortium by e-mail (to mundusmapp@ceu.hu) or post by January 26, 2009.

The application should include:
- Completed Application Form - available here;
- Curriculum Vitae with list of publications and taught courses;
- Two letters of recommendation;
- Sample publications in English (maximum 3).

Shortlisted candidates may subsequently be interviewed by a member of the Mundus MAPP Academic Board. The list of selected scholars will be endorsed by the European Commission. The final decision will be communicated to the applicants in May 2007 (subject to the European Commission's approval). Academic visits may start as early as September 2007.
