Detailed curriculum - Internship

The aim of the internship component of the programme is to provide students with the opportunity to experience the policy process at first hand and deepen conceptual understanding with policy work. Internships normally take place after completing the academic requirements in year 2 of the programme. Although students need to secure placements themselves, Consortium institutions facilitate internships by providing information, advice and support. Students with significant relevant work experience may apply for an exemption from the internship requirement.
