Two Masters Degrees in two years in two different institutions in two different countries may sound strange, intense, unnecessary, and perhaps even, unworkable. It is, thankfully, none of these things.
My Mundus MAPP experience was both rewarding and unique. In addition to the generous scholarship (which allowed me to concentrate on studying and deepening my knowledge), the program exposed me to world-class experts conducting cutting edge research, multidisciplinary curricula, and inspiring colleagues from across the globe. In short, the program was educationally challenging, professionally rewarding, and socially satisfying.
The combination of development studies and public policy is a perfect fit. Moreover, the focus on theory and theoretical foundation at ISS complemented the focus on practical issues at CEU. Likewise, ISS's methodological focus on in-class testing and encompassing discussion complemented CEU's focus on writing and presentations. All in all, it was an experience I'd repeat in a heartbeat.
