Agnes Batory is the Program Director of the Mundus MAPP consortium. She is a Professor at CEU’s School of Public Policy and a Research Fellow of the Center for Policy Studies. She holds a PhD from Cambridge University. Her research interests include corruption and corruption control, regulation and regulatory agencies, party politics and European integration, regional and education policy in the EU, and new modes of governance. She is author of The politics of EU accession (Manchester University Press) and co-editor, with Gabor Toka, of a book on voting behaviour in European elections. Her articles appeared, among others, in Governance, the Journal of Common Market Studies, the Journal of European Public Policy, Public Administration and the European Journal of Political Research.
